GOSPORT, England, July 31 (UPI) -- Emergency responders in Gosport, England, said a nude sunbather impaled his genitals on a metal spike.

Authorities said the 34-year-old man, who had been drinking with his girlfriend, tripped on his way to the bathroom and impaled his groin on the 8-inch iron spike, The Sun reported Thursday.

Paramedics said they initially believed they would have to cut through the spike, but they were able to lift the man off of the sharp metal.

The victim was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital.

Whil driving in Ohio iwas startled and almost wrecked the car twice while rubber-necking and trying to figure out just what this was. What it was....was....a 62 FEET $250,000 Marble JESUS.

I do not think this is the Jesus that Will Ferrell prays to in Talldaga Nights!!

After doing a little research locals have dubbed this statue both Big Butter Jesus and because he looks like he was carved from a block of cheese... My personal Favorite...........They call him "CHEESUS"!!

You know how most people at some point in there life have a brush with a celebrity...well i think i had mine on Sunday night.

I flew to Cincinnati on Sunday evening and of course was delayed a few times but finally got to the hotel around 8:40.My plan the entire day had been to find something to eat once i got settled.
I decided on the Carrabba's right next to the hotel. Walked in and sat at the bar. After ordering a cool beverage i looked over to my left and there Sat ANDY RODDICK and his Model Fiance.
It took a couple of glances over but was sure it was him. Did not feel right to disturb them while they were having dinner so i just sipped the drink and talked to the tender about the Sox/Yanks thats was on the TV and Brett Favre and his situation. As we spoke Roddick joined the conversation and it was pretty cool to listen to his perspective on Favre. So after he finished his meal and stood up i reached shook the hand and told him good luck in this weeks touney that started on Monday.

Trip to waterville!!

Took the first ever trip to Waterville USA yesterday. 10.5 and the rest of us had a greast time. Was a Haven for From the Hip opportunities but felt i may get arrested if i tried to hard. A couple of observations!!

1.They really do make Bikini's for ALL shapes and sizes. (Next time girl go for the one piece)

2.One of the few places where i can take my shirt off and not feel like the Fat guy!!

Pretty incredible story about a guy wo got real drunk. Not sure if he left all of his friends 40 miles from where he was staying without transportaion to and from the meetings. And the Answer coxie is NO I still do not know whaty i was thinking!!

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — State police say they arrested a man early Tuesday whose blood alcohol level was 0.491 percent — the highest ever recorded in Rhode Island for someone who wasn't dead.

Stanley Kobierowski was taken to a hospital, put in the detoxification unit and sedated, said Maj. Steven O'Donnell. He was arraigned Tuesday on charges of driving while intoxicated and resisting arrest, and he was released after promising to appear Friday at a court hearing.

"The person's lucky they survived," O'Donnell said. "There's no doubt he would have gotten killed or killed someone if he had continued on the route he was taking."

A phone listing for Kobierowski could not be found, and he did not have a lawyer in court Tuesday.

Kobierowski, 34, of North Providence, was arrested after he drove into a highway message board on Interstate 95 in Providence, O'Donnell said.

After police arrived, Kobierowski had trouble getting out of the car, then grabbed it and refused to move, forcing troopers to carry him to the breakdown lane before taking him back to their barracks, O'Donnell said.

A breath test showed blood alcohol readings of 0.489 percent, followed by 0.491, O'Donnell said, the highest readings state officials could remember for someone who didn't end up dead.

The legal limit in Rhode Island is 0.08. A level of 0.30 is classified as stupor, 0.4 is comatose and 0.5 is considered fatal, according to the health department.

Ah...the smell of multiple types of flesh being sizzled,turned,basted and tasted..must be the consumate summer holiday in the USA. Sun screen,floats galore and the noodles (man wish we had these when i was growing up) coolers full of water,kool -aid , capri sun and possibly and pitcher of frozen goodies for the adults.

Whether it be the pool, a friends pool, the beach, a slip and slide, the back of a truck filled with water or just the hose please just enjoy the day!

Let's face it, we have all been really drunk and made some mistakes. This is part of being human. The good news is that a lot of times, when you act a fool, your friends are in a similar state of mind and probably weren't concerned with you being you. Unfortunately, the mass proliferation of digital camera ownership increases the chance that your douchery will be forever remembered. So while you and your buddies may not remember how stupid you acted, fake humping Marty at the club, or pissing your girlfriend (at the time)'s bed, the camera always will. It is time to start stepping up your drunk game so you won't end up like these poor fools below.

1. The Chief

Ah, the classic tale of revenge. You have been a dickhole all night, starting fights, slapping girls asses and missing the toilet with your projectile vomit. Everyone hates you, and now is their chance to show it. It beings innocently with a dick drawing on the cheek, then a few strategically placed “I heart penis” notations. But when you wake up, your underwear have been cut off of your lifeless body and you look like a walking Pollock painting…it might be time to send out a mass text and check if you still have any friends.

2. The Dirty Dancer

Though your dance session seemed “so hot” last night, I can assure you that the photo documentation was not.

Girls: “Backing it up” was indeed a safe foreplay maneuver, but didn’t do much for your pride. You basically got dry humped doggy-style in public view.

Guys: When on the dance floor at a club, more times than not, you look like you are either a) attempting to sink your haunches into a lucky lady the way a hyper poodle does to his owners leg or b) holding on for dear life because you have no idea what she is doing with her hips. Also, resist the urge to “throw your hands in the air” when the cameras are out as your armpits are usually sweating like you just took four hits of Ecstasy.

3. The Usurper

You know what they say: If you can’t party with them, party AROUND them. This rogue clubber seems to find his way into the background of everyone else’s photos, making his presence known typically with a peace sign, a “peace out” sign, or the “rock on” horns. Who is this guy? What happened to his friends? Doesn’t he work the Carl’s Jr. drive-thru? No one really knows the answers to these questions. What we do know is that he is hell-bent on fucking up the photos of all patrons better looking and more popular than him.

4. The Public Display of Erection

You're a stud right? Got your sweet hair cut, and a casual button-down shirt that tells the ladies that you’re no slob...but also that you don't take life out of the office too seriously. Weekends = Party time. Oh Yeah! We're going out tonight boys and we're going to raise hell. You spend all night buying hot girls drinks but too no avail and start to get a bit loose yourself...thinking there's got to be a girl in this spot that's as hammered as you are.

Then you find her and start dirty dancing to Best of Summer Hits 2003 (you use a dance you learned while in Cabo during that year's Spring Break to woo her), and the next thing you know you are playing tonsil hockey in the middle of a crowded room and hands start a wandering. You’re having fun, you are in the prime of your life. No big deal right? Sure buddy. Until the picture of you motor-boating a stranger finds its way to the company mail server.

5. The Toilet Sleeper

We all like to relax while on the pot, but for god’s sake, maintain consciousness. A more humiliating situation does not exist than being discovered by your friends, hunched over and comatose, with your pants around you ankles. No one can blame the photographer. Any way you look at it, the scenario is a banner moment that must be captured. Then again, it is tough to blame the victim either. You drank a lot of beer, so you are drunk…you want to sit. You also need a place to excrete the liquid waste from the beer. You walk into the bathroom and BAM! There is a place to sit WHILE excreting liquid waste. Who thought of this? Brilliant! And it is so comforta…

6. The Pissed Pants

The loss of control of basic bodily functions is something that should be kept off film at all costs. It can only mean one of two things. Either your body has most completely shut down due to your consumption of alcohol, or your foresight was so poor that you were unable to allocate proper time to find a restroom around the time your bladder reached max capacity. However, this girl seems to be an expert in damage control. Once the deed is done, your best strategy is to curl up in the fetal position to minimize your shame. On the up side of things, that cute flannel you are wearing is going to look great with your boyfriend’s mesh gym shorts from 7th grade.

7. The Crime Scene

This was not a funny charade. You were not just resting for a minute. You were out…all the way out. So much so that you became the party’s project. Congratulations! Your friends rallied around your conked-out corpse and gave you a proper burial. On the positive side, they have enough respect for you to not write all over your lifeless body. On the negative side, you still suck.

8. The Crash and Burn

The fact that we humans were given the materials to produce alcohol and only two legs on which to balance is God’s ultimate cruel joke. The sidewalk might as well be a sheet of ice covered in baby oil; no man stands a chance. The important thing is that we are all in this together, and you have friends to pick you up when you fall, right after snapping a picture of your pathetic ass on the ground.

9. Beer Goggles

Everyone has been there. Or at least most have. The night is coming to a close. Your sure thing turned out to not be that sure of a thing, or you are newly singled and looking to 'mingle'. In the back of your mind you know that you have to get drunk enough to make out with any of these seahogs, they all look the same in the dark right? And in the morning, after a small bout of self-loathing...you can quietly sneak out of the room and have one of your friends (or a cab?) come pick you up from her house... The best part about it, is that you went to a bar where your friends are never at and partied with people you don't know. It's cool; no one will ever know. Right? Wrong. Your thoughtless debauchery has been immortalized in order to educate future generations on both the merits of contraceptives, and what alcohol can do to your motor skills as well as your standards.

10. The Switch Hitter

What is it about alcohol that encourages everyone to switch teams? Kinsey…you got anything on this? Girls start making out with each other and boys start fake bf-ing as soon as the cameras come out. I am all for the dropping of inhibitions whilst under the influence, but the latent homoeroticism of these photos is not what you want to be sharing with your gym partner the next day over a Creatine shake. Maybe you can try to release just a bit of that sexual repression before you are 7 keg stands deep.

To my pleasant surprise while flipping through the tv listings last night i found a new series of one of my favorite reality shows. "The mole" is bak and it looks like this season will be pretty intyeresting. I will challenge the BOG(as this was one of his favorites as well) to see who can deteermine the mole's identity.

I guess beacuse of getting older i fell asleep while watching game 5 of the stanley cup last night after the first overtime period ended. Gald i did not miss a cup celebration (The greateest celebration in sports in my humble opinion) possibly i will make through the entire game on Wednesday.

Last nights late night post was fueld by.......5 hours of Internet poker and 10 Bud Lights!!! Not sure if it was the Trip to Disney or just pure laziness but i decided to take a little time off from the blog and working out. But we are back in full force today with a tough workout session and will be back into the daily posting mode. Weight still holding around 205 so the push for under 200 is underway.

Yes It is finally time..The family truckster is loaded and we are leaving Mobile at 11pm. Front Gates of Magic Kingdom when they open in the morning. We will be visiting Disney with the Genard family so the stories should be plentiful.

Well....

A definite 4.5 out of 5 stars for me. Rock was at his comic genius for almost 2 hours providing his unique take on various topics.

Did a little different today. We had lunch with some of the grand parents for easter at the Blue Gill. (Grilled Fish Ceaser) We then went to the island to complete the Grand parent slam and i took the clothes and did a little over six miles walk down the bike trails at Dauphin Island. I will be back later to post activity for today. After the egg hunt of course!!

Can you stand straight up look down and see your feet? This really does not sound this tough but for the first time in a while i can!! Weight at 208.4 but it seems things are changing.

Been a tough week but i had to put in a easy cardio session today even though not feeling my best.

Big week coming up with Chris Rock on Saturday and Disney the first week of April. I am going to try and hurt myself the next 7 days to get under 200. Probably not likely but is still a short term goal.

Sunday was designated off day. Enjoyed Waffel house with cup and 10.5. As Sunday wore on i had some selling in the Knee that bothered me for a few days sos i took a couple of days off.

The week has been hectic so far with Rachel in Birmingham a trip to Baton Rouge for me and the Final Draft of the Reasearch paper Due last night.

Trying to get ahead of daylight savings time. Put the work in this morning between 5:30 and 7:30. Glad it is out of the way.

Big Day for me and 10.5 today. "Big Daddy" or "Willis The Original" has a 60th B-Day party today on the island. Cup can't make it she has work functions this weekend.

Saw semi pro on Thursday...not a true belly laugher but definitely humourous enough..especially for those who have tolled in that arena.

Also got some golf in this week..shot 106 playing everything down and counting all shots. Highlight was two pars.

Dreamland with "b" yesterday might have been minor set back but we put in quality work this morning.

Worked out today for the first time with Music. Seemed to really help not count strides or continually look at the clock. Well Cup had a power company pow-wow at the Grand Hotel tonight and me and 10.5 wet to the grand parents house for dinner. I had a nearly world famous Willis The original burger so was feeling a little guilty. With 10.5 winding down slowly he still not in the bed..i decided to shock the body and do another session on the eliptical. Did a 30 Min cross training program which is basically just switching from forward strides to backward strides.

Day 5 is in the books and i have to admit with the weight just remaining steady it was a little tough to get it done this morning. I may try to put an additional cardio session in later this afternoon.

Not real sure what the strategy is to this point but to just get into the habit of doing something every day. I am trying to concentrate a little on core body exercises to establish a solid base to work from.

I think i have talked myself in to a short term goal of completeing the Azalea Trail Run with an eye on coming in under 1 hour. (Really a strecth but it is on the must do before i die list and i would need to check this one off prior to 40 - 45 so why not start now.)
